When two agencies come together, and rebrand as a new agency—it requires the highest level of attention and internal deliberation. We renamed, rebranded, refreshed and launched a new website in four months. Avoq is the marraige of Kivvit + Subject Matter—two public affairs agencies with growing client needs, and a team of account leaders, creatives and digital practitioners ready to come together as one super-team.
Efforts to censor or ban books are increasing across the nation, so our team created a campaign to help bring more awareness around book banning for our youth audiences.

Our team partnered with a gubernatorial campaign in the state of Michigan to develop a modern, compelling, and people-centered social branding strategy. The campaign faced the challenge of standing out in a crowded political environment while connecting with diverse voter groups across the state.
We were tasked with creating a clear brand identity, a high-impact sizzle reel to launch the campaign’s message “it’s not about politics, it’s about Michigan”, and a full suite of social media creative assets to fuel ongoing engagement The visual identity became a unifying thread across all campaign channels, cited by supporters as “fresh,” “energetic,” and “authentic.”
As Baxter’s Bioscience transitioned to Baxalta, it was our task to communicate this change to the community. After refreshing and reconcepting the brand, our team developed a set of guidelines and a marketing strategy for how to reach patients, clinicians and community partners.
As the creative lead on this project, I was tasked with working with the team on developing the creative messaging and look and feel for the campaign, as well as staffing a photographer and producer and scouting locations for four different Brand ambassadors around the country. Our Baxalta clients were thrilled with the new message “Enduring Commitment” along with the new and improved creative. Campaign materials were rolled out in web, email, direct mail, print ads and video.
